Program Overview

The Rose of York – English in Football Program is a specialised English language training programme designed to enhance English proficiency within the global football industry. The programme targets participants with A2–B1 English levels and focuses on developing practical communication skills required in football-related professional environments. 

The course combines language learning with industry-specific football knowledge. Participants develop the ability to communicate effectively in football contexts including match analysis, player evaluation, media commentary, and tactical discussion. 

The curriculum introduces essential football terminology including player positions, match strategies, equipment, and refereeing rules. Participants learn how to interpret football media, discuss tactical formations, and deliver structured match commentary. 

The programme also focuses on professional communication within sports media environments. Participants practice interview techniques, match recap presentations, and analytical discussions of football performance. 

Through practical exercises, role-plays, and media simulations, participants strengthen their confidence using English in football-related professional settings.
